Pope Francis’ encyclical letter Laudato Si: On Care for our Common Home teaches that God’s being is in all creation.
“Each creature possesses its own particular goodness and perfection…Each of the various creatures, willed in its own being, reflects in its own way a ray of God’s infinite wisdom and goodness” (Pope Francis, 2015, para. 69, 77). From the Catholic perspective this understanding of God is therefore mediated through all life forms.

Examples in Scripture include and are not limited to: Genesis 1: 1-2:4; Wisdom 11: 24.
